Design Center 101: Kitchen- Countertops

If you haven't read our Kitchen post about cabinets make sure you read it. It has lots of great pictures and ideas for you.

Today we will focus on countertops. We have granite and quartz countertop samples in our design center and there are so many colors to choose from.

This is one of our darkest granite. It has lots of dark browns and black throughout.

This granite is all black and very dark. It really makes this tumbled marble backsplash pop though.

Here is a medium toned granite. This granite has lots of darker color running through it but the main color is a lighter tan.

This granites main color is meduim toned with lots of dark color running through it. This pairs nicely with a medium dark cabinet stain.

Here is a light colored granite. This granites base color is a creamy white with lots of gray and black color dotted throughout. This granite stands out against the dark cabinets.

Here is an upclose look at the lighter colored granite. It is a great pick for someone looking for a lighter kitchen. It also pairs great with really dark cabinets.

Can't decide between light or dark granite. This homeowner did dark granite on the outside countertops and did a light granite on the island.

Here is an example of one of the quartz countertops we have. This homeowner did white quartz with white cabinets.

This homeowner also did white quartz but paired it with dark cabinets.
